Business is a systematic activity which deals with goods and services and aims to gain profit by providing a service. Its objectives vary, but they are all aimed at satisfying human needs and bringing in wealth. In the early days of business, the main objective was profit maximisation. A person engaged in this activity was said to be “in the business of chasing money.” Now, however, the goal of business is to provide a valuable product or service to the general public.
